I’m a Multimedia Journalist (MMJ) which means I can write, produce, shoot, edit, and present all my own work on-camera or off.
I have more than 15 years of experience working as a T.V. News Anchor and Reporter in multiple top 25 news markets around the country. I’ve worked with ABC, CBS and NBC News. My work as a news reporter has appeared on CNN and the Weather Channel. My passion for storytelling has allowed me to develop invaluable international experience with trips to Iraq, Australia, Italy, Haiti, Canada and Mexico.
My specialty is covering the sport of triathlon (swimming, cycling and running). I bring a unique combination of skills as an Ironman Triathlon Reporter. I’m a 2x Ironman finisher and have completed a dozen half iron distance races over the past 13 years. To date, I’ve produced more than 500 triathlon race related videos and reports.
Another area I excel in is producing corporate and instructional videos for businesses big and small. I help companies showcase their services, people and products with real-life, honest and balanced reviews. I’m very adept at integrating my work into various social media platforms; Facebook, Twitter, Blogs.

2x IRONMAN TRIATHLETE:
I’m passionate about the sport of triathlon. I started racing in 1998. I’ve completed more than 80 events including Ironman Coeur d’Alene in 2008 & 2009.
In September of 2008, I established a first of its kind fitness/fund raising challenge for “Cancer Patient Care” of the Inland Northwest, “Dave’s 30 in 30″. The goal was to perform 30 minutes of exercise a day for 30 days. Each person collected money to support their effort. For my part, I finished 30 triathlons in 30 days. More than $6,000 was raised!
I’ve been and continue to be a strong supporter of various charities throughout my career, including: The Children’s Miracle Network, The United Way, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the j.k. livin’ foundation and the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
